EREWHON CALABASAS

Erewhon is my #1 food store in the city. I have been going to their Beverly Blvd. location since I was a kid (Thanks Mom for being such a wise foodie!). I'm so excited to see them expanding with new stores - Erewhon Calabasas recently celebrated their 1st Anniversary and their Venice location is opening soon.

Erewhon's strict and uncompromising health and ingredient standards put most other markets to shame. I won't name any names. ;) They are also ballsy enough to carry raw milk, which is a rarity, even in our progressive and health conscious city. You won't see any corn syrup or artificial anything in their store. You can see the complete list of products NOT carried at the store and learn more about their dedication to carrying only fresh, sustainable and the healthiest foods.

It's nice not to have to weed through conventional produce - because all of this is organic!

Are you a Bulletproof devotee? Erewhon has got you covered.

I am the biggest fan our their organic cold pressed juices and elixirs.

Never want for fermented veggies again.

You can grab wine for your next dinner party too.

I love coming here for dinner! The cook up amazing organic foods all day.

They even have wild caught sushi.

B loves partying in the store with this delish organic "poppie-corn." We love you Erewhon!!! xx

BEVERLY BLVD'S ICDC

It's National Donut Day! So I thought it would only be fitting to check out the city's newest high-end Ice Cream, Donut and Coffee Shop -- ICDC.

Located directly next door to bld on Beverly Blvd., ICDC Is the cutest little pastel-colored shop, serving daily-made donuts with innovative flavors, fresh batches of ice cream and 100% Arabica bean Vittoria Coffee.

I stopped in to pick up some donuts for this special holiday. Here are a couple shots.

As an ice cream fanatic, I approve of all of these freshly made flavors. Even with the glare they look good.

BRUNCH WITH MOM AT TERRINE

I had been dying to try chef Kris Morningstar's California brasserie, Terrine, on Beverly Blvd.. Mainly a dinner-serving restaurant, they also serve brunch Friday-Sunday, in the late morning. I thought it would be the perfect place for Sis and I to take Mom for a Mother's Day girls' brunch. And of course, "girls' brunch" means Miss Mila is in our crew too! She'll probably write her own piece for her toddler blog.

I love all of this - brick walls, bentwood chairs, booths and mirrors. It reminds me of a restaurant in Paris where I had my 30th birthday dinner.

Gorgeous French-style bar.

Cozy lounge spot, perfect for cocktails, out on the pretty patio.

Really nice vibe out here.

Time to get down to business and order from this great brasserie menu.

First up: Charcuteries plate and really good bread!

Four delicious craft cocktails: Paloma, French 75, Terrine Mauresque and Gordon's Cup. I might need to call an Uber after this party. Who knew Mom was so wild!
