SEPTEMBER KIDS' CLOTHES
/September has got to be the best time of year when it comes to shopping. I'm obsessed with clothes for Mila and so I'm going crazy over all the new fall collections. Wanted to share a few of my favorites here with you.

Wovenplay is described as "creative couture for the everyday artist and adventurer." I love that. The New York-based company believes in old techniques, hand-crafted textiles and the natural qualities of materials; drawing on the past to create modern, sustainable, beautifully hand-crafted clothing and costumes for little ones. It's obvious that founder and designer Katherine Edmonds applies her background in art, textile design and traditional french dressmaking to every collection.
I view buying a piece from Wovenplay like investing in a piece of art. Here are some current favorites.

HOLIDAY DRESSING WITH NELLYSTELLA

Before our latest family/holiday photo shoot, I was on the hunt for a beautiful dress for Mila. I've been a fan of Nellystella (since Brixton's 1st birthday party) and this sweet little tutu from the LOVE by Nellystella collection sent my heart singing. I have a soft spot for a onesie so this Mirella dress was perfect. And I found it at one of our favorite stores, Eggy.
That got me thinking about how great this collection is, and so I wanted to share a few more favorites from this season -- perfect for holiday dressing!
SIAOMIMI PLAY COSTUMES FOR HALLOWEEN

I love pieces that can be worn year after year. I got this Siaomimi fairy dress and tiara for Mila when she was one. She wore it that Halloween, last year and for dressing up this year too!
I first fell in love with Siaomimi at Auntie Barbara's, and have since discovered that Koko Blush, Merry Love Joy and Barneys carry several pieces. Here are some more of my favorite costumes from the line.
