CONFETTI EGGS (CASCARONES)

Wish we knew about cascarones (kas-ka-ron-ez) when we were kids! Mexican tradition says, break the confetti egg over your friend's head and it will bring them good luck. We have toddlers, so decided to go the non-head smashing route. They got to smash their own eggs, which was a big hit.

The cascarones are perfect for the Easter egg hunt too.

And they make for great table decor.

5 WAYS TO DIY LEFTOVER FLOWERS

Valentine's Day is the second biggest flower giving holiday of the year. So we all have a lot of flowers lying around after last weekend, right?  Instead of just throwing them away, here are some ideas for repurposing those blooms. 

Flower poppers! You see them all the time with confetti, so why not with flowers? Mila loved plucking all the hyacinth off the stems and stuffing the blossoms into the poppers.
