MICHELLE STAFFORD'S SPOOKY SOIREE IS ON PEOPLE!

Michelle Stafford threw a Halloween-themed first birthday party for her son Jameson and it's on People!

We had so much fun designing the dessert table -- joining the spooky theme with the first birthday by incorporating a toddler piano and candlesticks into the tablescape, filled with Whisk and Whittle’s creepy crawlers cake, vampire bat cupcakes, caramel apples and skeleton cookies. Then completed the look with beautiful grey pumpkins from Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch and Cheeky’s #MakeMealtimeMatter gold plates. We hand-painted the spiderweb tablecloth based on The House that Lars Built DIY.

EASTER PARTY

Our Easter party checklist includes carrot cake, cruditΓ©s with spinach leek dip, deviled eggs, watermelon bunnies, fresh flowers, confetti eggs, surprise bunnies and lots of fun partyware.

Love the way that tulip opened.

Sweet little birds sweeping over the flowers.

The Meri Meri surprise bunnies and pinwheels help to fill empty space on the table.

The kids welcome the Easter Bunny (cake topper).

And then dig into the treats.

How cute are the little quail eggs in the cruditΓ©s box from Joan's On Third?

5 FLORAL CENTERPIECES TO INSPIRE YOUR THANKSGIVING

Nothing makes a bigger impact on a table than flowers, so here are five of my favorite floral centerpieces to inspire your Thanksgiving.

Tulipina just creates the most gorgeous floral masterpieces, all day every day. The persimmons and berries give it that fall feel, while the ranunculus tie it together perfectly with the unexpected magnolia and soft garden roses.

For our Twink + Sis Thanksgiving, we used burgundy amaryllis, maple leaves, purple clematis, coral ranunculus and peonies in burgundy and a pink so light it almost looks white.

MV Florals created this floral table runner for a Beijos Events boho Friendsgiving. The stunning centerpiece includes eucalyptus, dahlias, anemones, ranunculus and hydrangea. You can see more on 100 Layer Cakelet

Pink and orange are always right, even when it comes to Thanksgiving. Beehive Events pulled together luscious peonies to go with roses, persimmons and chocolate cosmos. More from this outdoorsy shoot on Style Me Pretty Living

If you don't know what to do to wow your guests, I have one word for you, dahlias. Dahlias never disappoint when it comes to beautiful party flowers. Poppies & Posies created this gorgeousness with fall foliage, sweet little apples, berries and dahlias for Camille Styles

HALLOWEEN FLOWERS

Flowers, flowers, everywhere and all the time, that's my dream in life. Even though you may not normally think of flowers when it comes to Halloween, they really add a great "organic" touch. I've gathered some of my favorite uses of flowers for the holiday (including a couple of our own).

Could this dark floral skull from The House That Lars Built be any more stunning?

Such a pretty floral moon on this pumpkin by The Merrythought.

Flowers in a pumpkin? Yes! Love what Chatelaine did with this.

And... More flowers in pumpkins. By the flower queen Kiana Underwood of Tulipina

We used protea and chestnuts as two key elements for our sophisticated dinner party.

The simplicity of the white anemones with these bug (and bird) vases just works so well. Via Country Living

White tulips lent a perfectly clean touch to our neon and silver table.

STYLING YOUR SUMMER TABLE WITH FORAGED FLOWERS

When it comes to styling a table, I love foraged flowers and leaves. They really give an "organic" feel that commercially-grown flowers don't quite have. Don't get me wrong, I NEED those flower mart flowers, but adding that foraged element just does something special!

Bougainvillea is wildly abundant in Southern California (it's drought tolerant!) and its stunning color was the perfect fit for the kids' birthday party earlier this summer. [Even though bougainvillea isn't tropical, it went with our Mexican destination celebration-inspired theme.]

The fun part of styling with these beauties is you just pluck and stick, pluck and stick until you love the look. They fill in gaps beautifully and create a lush landscape.

They look equally great on the table itself or placed strategically on a serving tray.
